Individual Psychotherapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York, I am able to provide therapy services to any individual residing in New York State. I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy, often referred to as “talk therapy.” My work is grounded in the therapeutic relationship itself, which I see as a key element in healing and growth. By building a safe, trusting connection, we not only focus on the issues that brought you to therapy but also work to improve communication skills, emotional insight, and relationship patterns in your everyday life.

I view therapy as a collaborative, self-directed space where you can use sessions to explore, process, and address the issues most important to you. My approach is rooted in deep respect for who you are, where you’ve been, and who you’re working to become.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, and provide short-term and long-term treatment. For those currently on psychotropic medications or considering it, I also collaborate with psychiatric providers to support integrated, holistic care.

Please note that I only see individual clients in my practice, but I am happy to offer referrals for couples and family therapists.

Sex Therapy

I am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST), a designation that reflects advanced training and experience in the field of human sexuality. To earn this certification, I completed over 150 hours of specialized continuing education based in sexuality, 50 hours of professional supervision, and more than 300 hours of direct clinical work with individuals focused on Sex Therapy-related issues.

Sex Therapy encompasses far more than the physical aspects of sex. It is a nuanced and complex area of psychotherapy that addresses a wide range of topics, including but not limited to: sexual and psychosexual development, gender and sexual identity, compulsive or out-of-control sexual behavior (including distinctions between sex addiction, problematic patterns, and healthy behavior), sexuality and aging, sexual stigma, performance issues (such as erectile dysfunction, delayed ejaculation, issues with orgasming, low libido, and painful sex), alternative relationship structures, sexuality and religious beliefs, shame and guilt, and trauma as it relates to sexuality. While my educational and clinical experience spans a broad spectrum of sexual health and identity topics, I have particular expertise in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and those involved in alternative sexualities.

Individual psychotherapy and Sex Therapy start at $150 per session, and I offer a sliding scale for clients who require financial accommodations. Please note that as of January 1, 2026 I will not be accepting new clients with insurance plans in my practice, so if you plan on submitting bills for insurance reimbursement please contact your insurance provider prior to starting services to determine Out-Of-Network (OON) benefits. Superbills will be provided which can be submitted directly to your insurance provider.
