I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Brooklyn, New York. I graduated from New York University in 2012 with a Master of Social Work degree and have been a practicing licensed clinician since 2013. I have practiced in both New York State and Pennsylvania, but currently reside and practice in New York.
My clinical foundation was built in outpatient mental health settings, where I spent over a decade working with children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, grief and loss, chronic illness, compulsive behaviors, challenging relationship dynamics, and the impacts of socioeconomic stressors. In 2020, I established my private practice, where I continue to offer compassionate, evidence-informed care to individuals navigating these and other life concerns.
A significant focus of my work is supporting the LGBTQIA+ and alt sex communities as well as individuals involved in nontraditional relationship structures. I hold an advanced Certification in Sex Therapy from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, and I am deeply committed to affirming and inclusive care around identity, gender, and sexuality.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years working as a graphic designer, earning a BFA in Graphic Design from Ohio University and an MFA in Visual Communication from Virginia Commonwealth University. During my time as a designer I worked in corporate, nonprofit, and startup environments, and taught in higher education at Virginia Commonwealth University, Pratt Institute, and the Fashion Institute of Technology. My experience as a designer, educator, and someone who has transitioned career direction continues to shape my work with creatives and those undergoing major life or career transitions.
